OSCE

Professional Registration

The OSCE (Objective Structured Clinical Examination) is a critical component of the process for registering as a Registered Nurse (RN) in New Zealand. The OSCE assesses an individual's clinical skills, knowledge, and practical competencies, ensuring that international nurses meet the required standards for safe practice within New Zealand's healthcare system. This examination is a mandatory requirement for international nurses who wish to become licensed to practice as RNs in New Zealand. The OSCE evaluates both theoretical understanding and practical application of nursing skills in real-life scenarios.
